Our Story

ABA Group & Associates, INC. was founded in 2022 with a clear vision: empowering children and families to live their best lives. The company has been offering Behavior Analysis services in Orlando and nearby areas. Our passion and commitment to serving and helping children with developmental disabilities to reach their full potential and to integrate better into the community has made us a trusted partner for many families. Therapy is mostly offered to children who qualify for Medicaid, and who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and/or other behavioral disorders.

ABA Group & Associates, INC applies scientifically proven methods in applied behavior analysis to establish treatment goals that will help children and families succeed. Our team comprises professionals who are not only experts in their fields but also individuals who are committed to making a difference. Mission

Our main goal is to provide high-quality and least restrictive ABA services and training to empower children and their families. Whether it’s at home, in school, or within the community, we provide effective treatment through evidence-based practices and personalized treatment plans.

With inspiration, and empathy we strive to make changes by reducing maladaptive behaviors, that foster learning, and enhance social/communication skills, self-help skills, and independent functioning.

Our goal focuses on improving the child’s ability to express themselves effectively using both verbal and nonverbal communication. We offer parental support and training to create lasting improvements in children's behavior and overall well-being.

Our philosophy is not just to treat a condition, it goes beyond, to empower children and their families to live their best lives and make a difference.

Mariela has over 20 years of professional experience in education field with a Master of Science (Exceptional Student Education) and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Combining her skills in education and applied behavior analysis have allowed her to build a strong theoretical and practical foundation to provide direct services and supervision to different populations including children and adolescents with special needs. She also has a specialty in Curriculum Instruction Management and Administration and specializes in paraprofessional development by providing assessment, training, and supervision of RBTs and supervising BCaBA trainees.

The combination of her skills in education and applied behavior analysis highlights her passion for supporting children with developmental needs, emphasizing her patience, positive attitude, strong observation skills, and commitment to tailoring therapy to each child's unique learning style.
